چکیده
We show that Einstein equations are compatible with the presence of massive point particles and find corresponding two parameter family of their solutions which depends on the bare mechanical mass M0 > 0 and the Keplerian mass M < M0 of the point source of gravity. The global analytical properties of these solutions in the complex plane define a unique preferable radial variable of the problem.

The Gravitational Field of Massive Non-Charged Point Source in General Relativity
Abstract. Utilizing various gauges of the radial coordinate we give a description of static spherically symmetric space-times with point singularity at the center and vacuum outside the singularity. We show that in general relativity (GR) there exist a two-parameters family of such solutions to the Einstein equations which are physically distinguishable but only some of them describe the gravit...

We show that Einstein equations are compatible with the presence of massive point particle idealization and find the corresponding two parameter family of solutions. They are complete defined by the bare mechanical mass M > 0 and the Keplerian mass m > 0 (m < M) of the point source of gravity. The global analytical properties of these solutions in the complex plane define a unique preferable ra...
متن کاملSpherically Symmetric Solutions in a New Braneworld Massive Gravity Theory
In this paper, a combination of the braneworld scenario and covariant de Rham-Gabadadze-Tolley (dRGT) massive Gravity theory is proposed. In this setup, the five-dimensional bulk graviton is considered to be massive. The five dimensional nonlinear ghost-free massive gravity theory affects the 3-brane dynamics and the gravitational potential on the brane. Following the solutions with spherical s...

In Wesson's canonical model, the universe is assumed to be five dimensional (5D) empty space time. This model corresponds to a solution of the Einstein field equation in five dimensions which, from a four dimensional point of view, is equivalent to a universe with a positive cosmological constant. In this model, the fifth direction is perpendicular to the four dimensional space time and is not...
متن کاملPoint Electric Charge in General Relativity
Using a proper gauge condition the static spherically symmetric solutions of Einstein-Maxwell equations with charged point source at the center are derived. It is shown that the solutions of the field equations are a threeparameter family depending on the Keplerian mass M , the charge Q and the bare mass M0. The result can be interpreted as a correction to Newton’s gravitational potential and C...
